TravelSakha helps families find trusted co-travelers for seniors and parents traveling internationally. We collect only the information needed to run matching, communication, safety, and platform operations.

What we collect

  • Account details such as name, email address, and authentication provider information.
  • Travel request details such as route, dates, airline, and assistance preferences.
  • Support communication details when users request contact sharing.
  • Feedback and review submissions provided by users.
  • Voluntary donation metadata such as payment status, amount, currency, and payment processor reference IDs.
  • Basic analytics and device data used to improve reliability and user experience.

How we use information

  • To operate matching and request-to-connect workflows.
  • To send service emails, verification notices, match updates, and support responses.
  • To moderate abuse, investigate reports, and keep the platform safe.
  • To improve product quality, usability, and service performance.
  • To recognize voluntary supporters and process donation records.

Contact sharing and safety

Personal contact details are not publicly shown by default. When allowed by product workflow, contact information is shared only with relevant parties for coordination and only when a connection request is initiated through platform rules.

Voluntary donations

Donations are optional and are not a fee for using TravelSakha. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes. Donation records are used for accounting, support acknowledgment, fraud prevention, and service sustainability.

Feedback and testimonials

Users may submit feedback or reviews. Approved feedback may be displayed publicly without exposing sensitive personal information. We reserve the right to moderate, edit for clarity, or remove submissions that violate community standards.

Email communications

Service emails may include information about platform updates, support options, voluntary donation opportunities, and policy links. Transactional and safety-related emails are part of core account usage.

Third-party services

We may use trusted third-party providers for authentication, analytics, and email or payment delivery. These providers process data under their own privacy and security obligations.
